First Christian Church sends short-term Outreach Teams to support and learn from our various nonprofit partners around the world. Our teams offer services and support to further the work our partners are doing. Teams also learn a great deal and participate in the work God is already doing among our partners; some of this work looks like: church planting, furthering education for underserved communities, access to health care, livelihood skills training, and equipping & empowering local leadership. Our central purpose in sending teams is always to make Jesus known and glorified among all nations.

Upcoming Fundraising Opportunities

Kenya Team - August

August 01, 2025 to August 31, 2025
Kenya
Thank you for checking out the Kenya team fundraising page! FCCHB is sending a team of folks in August to Kenya with our global nonprofit partner, Missions of Hope International. This team will be serving alongside a school in a slum community outside Nairobi. They'll be able to visit with families in the community, sharing their faith stories, praying, encouraging, and listening to the stories and community challenges people experience. Our team will be able to offer support and participate as volunteers in the programs MOHI offers their communities to empower and equip local leaders. Additionally, we are hopeful this team will get to visit the work that MOHI is doing in remote villages in Turkana, Northern Kenya. We'd love your partnership with our team. Please consider partnering with us in prayer. We'd also love for you to consider making an impact for this team through your financial contribution. Thank you so much!

Chile Team - October

October 01, 2025 to October 31, 2025
Chile
Thank you for checking out the Chile team fundraising page! FCCHB is sending a team of folks in October to Santiago and Maipú, Chile with our global nonprofit partner, IberoAmerican Ministries. This team will be serving alongside one of our key local church partners, Los Héroes, to support their outreach efforts and help with a variety of projects around their church campus. While Chile enters its spring season, our team will have the opportunity to help the church community prepare for a busy season of ministry and outreach. From physical work on the church grounds to relational time with local believers, this is a hands-on, heart-engaged trip. One of the most meaningful parts of this experience will be living with Chilean host families, giving our team a deep sense of connection and a front-row seat to how faith is lived out in a different cultural context. This is an incredibly relational and spiritually enriching trip; our team will be sharing their faith stories, encouraging Chilean believers, and learning from their local partners who are faithfully living out the Gospel in their neighborhoods. We'd love your partnership in this journey! Please consider partnering with us in prayer. And if you're able, we'd be so grateful for your financial contribution to help support the work and make this trip possible. Thank you so much!
