First Christian Church sends short-term Outreach Teams to support and learn from our various nonprofit partners around the world. Our teams offer services and support to further the work our partners are doing. Teams also learn a great deal and participate in the work God is already doing among our partners; some of this work looks like: church planting, furthering education for underserved communities, access to health care, livelihood skills training, and equipping & empowering local leadership. Our central purpose in sending teams is always to make Jesus known and glorified among all nations.

Upcoming Fundraising Opportunities

Kenya Team - August

August 01, 2025 to August 31, 2025
Kenya
Thank you for checking out the Kenya team fundraising page! FCCHB is sending a team of folks in August to Kenya with our global nonprofit partner, Missions of Hope International. This team will be serving alongside a school in a slum community outside Nairobi. They'll be able to visit with families in the community, sharing their faith stories, praying, encouraging, and listening to the stories and community challenges people experience. Our team will be able to offer support and participate as volunteers in the programs MOHI offers their communities to empower and equip local leaders. Additionally, we are hopeful this team will get to visit the work that MOHI is doing in remote villages in Turkana, Northern Kenya. We'd love your partnership with our team. Please consider partnering with us in prayer. We'd also love for you to consider making an impact for this team through your financial contribution. Thank you so much!

Middle East Team - February

February 02, 2026 to February 13, 2026
Middle East
This February, we are sending a team to the Middle East in partnership with N2N Unlimited (Neighbors to Nations) a nonprofit organization committed to empowering communities through health, education, emergency relief, and local leadership development. This team will serve in a region that is both welcoming and stable, yet situated within a community where thoughtful discretion is important for the safety and longevity of local relationships and ongoing work. N2N Unlimited focuses on long-term transformation by: Providing medical care and health education in underserved areas, offering education and vocational training, including literacy and skill building programs, delivering emergency relief during times of crisis, equipping local leaders to lead change from within, and fostering peace building efforts in areas impacted by conflict. Our team will serve in February 2026, bringing encouragement, practical support, and partnership to the ongoing efforts on the ground. Ministry will include working with displaced individuals, offering skills-based workshops, and supporting local initiatives designed to build community resilience and hope. Specifically, this team will be offering a medical clinic for a Syrian Refugee camp of almost 12,000 refugees. We invite you to partner with this team through your financial generosity and/or through your prayers. Thank you so much for considering being an extension of this team's work! We appreciate you!
